Ehawee ("eh-HAH-wee") is a Lakota Sioux word meaning "laughing maiden." Here at BHF we choose Lakota names for our foals to honor the sacred Black Hills of our home and Tim's Lakota heritage. And this little girl is sweet, friendly, curious and quite "talkative," so this name seems quite fitting.
Ehawee is a Third Premie, stout girl and will be on the baroque side as she matures. She has a super low inbreeding coefficient of 0.39 & at five generations and 1.22% at six, with a kinship of 17.2%. And this little boy most definitely wants to be your friend. He LOVES his people. He is so friendly and engaging. He also just that right amount of spice. He is quite the "spicey little nugget!"

Waiting List Protocol:

You decide which pairing(s) you are interested in and contact us to request to be added to the waiting list. You can choose either filly or colt or both. THERE IS NO DEPOSIT OR COMMITMENT REQUIRED TO BE ADDED TO A LIST!

Within 24 hours of a foal’s birth, we will post the birth announcement and gender on our Facebook page. We will also contact the first person on the list. That person has 48 hours to make their decision whether to place a deposit on the foal or pass.

If the first person passes, we will move on to the next person on the list who will then have 48 hours to make their decision whether to place a deposit or pass. And so on and so on….

When the foal is officially spoken for (purchase agreement signed and deposit paid), we will announce the new owner on our Facebook page and Website!

Should no deposit be placed, foals will continue to be advertised and marketed until sold.
